Are your changing robes waterproof and windproof?
Yes. Our changing robes are designed to be both waterproof and windproof, helping to lock in warmth after cold water dips. They’re made to protect you from the elements so you can slow down, warm up, and change comfortably - whatever the weather.
Can I change underneath the robe?
Yes, this depends on the size you select.
For reference, I’m 5ft 9 in, with a slim build.
I can wear a S comfortably, but would find it difficult to change underneath.
I can also wear an M comfortably, and can change easily in this size.

Are your dry bags fully waterproof?
Yes. Our dry bags are fully waterproof and designed to keep your belongings dry before and after your swim. Perfect for cold water dips, coastal walks, and unpredictable weather.
What size is the bag?
Our dry bag is 35L - the ideal size for cold water swimming.
It comfortably fits:
- A changing robe
- Towel
- Water shoes
- Water bottle

Is cold water swimming safe?
Cold water swimming can be safe when done mindfully. The key is going slowly, knowing your limits, and listening to your body.
Start with short dips, swim only with a partner, and always enter the water gradually. It’s not about pushing yourself - it’s about connecting with the water safely.
Do I need experience to start cold water swimming?
No experience needed. Many people start cold water swimming as complete beginners.
Start in warmer months, keep your swims short, and build up slowly over time.
Everyone’s cold water journey looks different.
How cold is ‘too cold’?
There’s no single temperature that’s “too cold” - it’s about how it feels to you. What feels manageable for one person may feel intense for another. If your breathing feels out of control or you feel overwhelmed, it’s time to get out.
Cold water swimming should feel challenging but calm - never forced.

Where does ColdWaterCo ship to?
ColdWaterCo currently ships within the United Kingdom only. We hope to offer international shipping in the future.
How long does it take to process my order?
Orders are typically processed within 1–3 business days(Monday to Friday, excluding bank holidays).
Once your order has been packed and dispatched, you’ll receive a confirmation email with your tracking details.
How long does delivery take?
Once dispatched, orders are shipped using Royal Mail Tracked 48. Delivery typically takes around 2 business days after dispatch.
Orders placed close to weekends or public holidays may take slightly longer to arrive.
Can I cancel or change my order?
Once an order is placed, it cannot be amended or cancelled. Please double-check your items and delivery address before completing your purchase.
Do you offer exchanges?
Yes. If you need a different size, we offer size exchanges for the same item and colour to ensure you have the best fit. Contact us if you’d like to arrange an exchange at support@coldwatercompany.com
What if I entered the wrong delivery address?
Please double-check your delivery address before placing your order. ColdWaterCo cannot accept responsibility for orders delayed or lost due to incorrect or incomplete address details. If a parcel is returned to us due to an address issue, we’ll contact you to arrange re-delivery.
